About the role

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Sage you will lead the strategy and execution of key product marketing initiatives, shaping how we position and grow our Sage Intacct solution in the market. You’ll define go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences and drive adoption and growth. You’ll partner closely with Product and go-to-market teams to bring new offerings to market, ensuring strong product-market fit and commercial impact. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong cross-functional leadership, and a deep understanding of the accounting and financial software landscape. You’ll play a critical role in driving innovation, customer adoption, and market differentiation This role is hybrid and based 3 days a week in our Vancouver office. About You: Minimum Qualifications: • At least 5 years in a product marketing role for B2B SaaS solutions (required) - ideally in accounting, finance, fintech, or payments software • Demonstrated track record in creating and executing GTM strategies and deliverables such as positioning/messaging, pitch decks, sales playbooks, thought leadership content • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently take a lead in thought leadership and present at webinars, conferences, and industry events • Deep customer empathy to influence product and marketing efforts • Ability to translate technical capabilities into concise buyer-facing language • Critical thinking skills and a curious mindset for business and market analysis • Self-motivated and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment; experimentation mindset to keep learning and iterating • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive product & feature launches Why Join Sage? Together, we’ll tell the stories that inspire businesses to thrive powered by Sage, and by you. • Category strategy: Partner with Product to set the 3–5 year strategy for the Sage Intacct category, shaping business plans and product roadmaps. • Growth strategy: Support growth plans that convert market opportunity and customer needs into revenue and share growth. • Market & competitive insight: Maintain deep understanding of market segments, trends and competitors to identify and action growth opportunities. • Customer insight: Lead customer research and insight generation to inform roadmap and proposition development. • Commercial priorities: Work with R2R to assess local opportunities and risks and define a commercially aligned roadmap. • Value proposition & messaging: Create compelling value propositions and differentiated messaging, continuously testing and optimising. • Launch excellence: Lead PMM launch strategies end-to-end, partnering with Product and R2R to deliver on time and to plan. • Content & messaging: Own product messaging and content across sales channels, web, sales enablement and customer proof points. • Category evangelism: Act as the category SME and spokesperson, inspiring internal teams and representing externally. • Thought leadership: Translate market insight into thought leadership for content and external presentations. • Analyst & PR engagement: Support analyst assessments and partner with PR to deliver impactful launch and ongoing PR activity. • Customer base insight: Leverage customer data (size, revenue, industries) to inform growth and category strategy. • Culture & inclusion: Be part of a high-performance, inclusive culture that encourages challenge, collaboration and diverse thinking. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role. For this role, in those locations, the target base salary range for new hires is C$145,000 to C$165,000. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in a bonus plan (20%) based on company and individual performance. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific opportunities on our bonus or incentive programs. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package. #LI-CH1
